Jay Weise, Partner and Creative Director at Weise Communications

Jay began his career in graphic design, photography and advertising in his hometown of Memphis. There he had the great pleasure of working on national brands, such as FedEx, General Motors, Sheraton, and serving as the lead art director at several agencies and on numerous accounts. Jay focuses on pushing the creative envelope while maintaining brand integrity and never losing sight of client goals.

After moving to Denver in 2000, Jay made the decisions to lead his own creative team. With Tracy as a co-founder, he incorporated Weise Communications, Inc. As partner and creative director, Jay continues to lead innovative design and creative execution. His work crosses over multiple disciplines and numerous business sectors as well as includes Fortune 100 companies and start-up ventures. His passion for great creative and detailed execution pushes him and his team to reach new heights every day. Jay believes a powerful image can be the soul of a message.

Jay is a foodie, especially for good BBQ and sweet treats. Outside of his family that includes 2 children, his real passion is photography. His work decorates the halls of his home, the halls of the office and the rooms of other homes and businesses across the country.

Tracy Weise, President at Weise Communications

Tracy distinctly remembers her favorite uncle telling her upon graduating from her master’s program, “When you get over this little PR phase, get into pharmaceutical sales. That’s where the real money is.” Tracy never really got over her “little PR phase” and began her career in health care communications. While she has spent nearly 15 years in health care, her previous jobs and clients span a variety of sectors and include national and international work.

As the co-founder of Weise Communications, Tracy has successfully parlayed her public relations and marketing experience into her role as president of this integrated agency. She has three beliefs about her business model: integrated communication is key to a more successful business; there are no heights too high for her agency to reach; and our agency only creates work that encourages people to DO. BELIEVE. BUY.

Mark Plumb, Senior Account Executive at Weise Communications

Mark started his marketing career with telecommunications giant AT&T and has spent more than 15 years leading and motivating small teams of committed individuals to achieve lofty marketing goals. Mark recalls his passion for marketing began early when he found a career path that blends art with science. He believes there are business and management principles essential in a successful marketing campaign, but the beauty is that it can be delivered in ways only limited by the imagination.

When away from the office, you can find Mark skiing in the winter and on the tennis court or golf course in the summer. Friends and family look forward to his review of the annual ‘Pizzapalooza’ to see if any pizza parlor earns a place on his cell phone directory.

Heather Hutchinson, Account Executive at Weise Communications

While working on her high school yearbook, a teacher advised Heather, “You have to go into advertising,” and the bug was born. Heather found that her skill set and interest more closely aligned to public relations than advertising when she was studying at the University of Colorado – Boulder, but that small comment paved the way for her passion for communication.

Heather began her career with a local health care organization and moved to the agency side in 2006. Working in the fast-paced, fluid environment, Heather learned to love the energy created through collaboration.

The integrated agency model was especially exciting to Heather when she joined the Weise team. The limitless ability to serve a client, providing them with advertising, marketing and public relations, allows communication to work together and ultimately assists the customer to understand the brand.

As one of those rare Colorado natives, Heather enjoys spending her time enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. Whether snowboarding, hiking or enjoying a walk with Stella her Vizsla and Harper her Australian cattle dog-mix, Heather represents the work hard, play hard model and spends time enjoying the fresh air in and around Denver.
